Dr Tom Walker founded Mylash in 2007 based on his knowledge that a well studied treatment for glaucoma, an eye condition, had an interesting side effect- eyelash growth!
Dr Walker continues to lead Mylash as the Director of the company, managing the other medical doctors that work for Mylash.
He has a keen interest in hair growth and non-surgical ways to improve this for cosmetic purposes and post-chemotherapy.
Dr Walker has been published in the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has contributed his professional opinions to articles in Hello magazine, Elle, Grazia and more.
Dr Walker has a Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery from Glasgow University, as well as a Bachelor degree in Anatomy with Honours for research work carried out at Glasgow University and Glasgow Royal Infirmary Plastic Surgery unit.
Dr Walker has worked previously for the National Health Service but now focuses on his private ventures.
Dr Walker is also the founder of www.MyHairGrowth.org and a medical revision website for medical doctors studying for their post graduate exams.
